Felix Kersten was the masseur for the head of the SS, Himmler. It is said that he was the only one able to relieve Himmler’s pain, and by using his influence, Kersten obtained the release of tens of thousands of detainees. The writer Joseph Kessel recounted this story in “The Hands of Miracles.” Seventy years later, this mini-series sheds light on this character, who is as mysterious as he is intriguing.
